Building Projects at Granger School District
Granger School District has been adding on to all the schools in the District. With the support of the voters, a bond for improvements was passed in February, 2015.
The first phase was adding four classrooms, new parking, and new tennis courts to the high school.
The second phase was adding four classrooms to the middle school. Both of those phases are completed and the new facilities are occupied.
The third phase is the addition of six classrooms, an enlarged kitchen and a lunch room/multipurpose room to the elementary school. The lunch room/multipurpose room is to serve the middle school students for lunch. This project should be done by September, 2016.
The fourth phase is the addition of a competition gymnasium to the high school. The gym will be about 28,000 sq/ft in size and seat about 1800 people. This project should be done by December, 2016.
