Mayor Trevino led the flag salute

CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Trevino called the meeting of August 8, 2017 to order at 7:00 p.m.

 AGENDA
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to amend the agenda to include consideration of whether to enter into an interagency agreement with the Washington Department of Enterprise Service which would designate Apollo Solutions Group as the City’s ESCO. Motion was seconded by Councilman Isiordia.

 MINUTES
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to accept the minutes as presented. Motion seconded by Councilwoman Gonzalez.
MOTION CARRIED: 5-0

AGREEMENT-WASHINGTON DEPT. OF ENTERPRISE SERVICES
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to enter into an Interagency Agreement with the Washington Department of Enterprise Services. It was seconded by Councilwoman Gonzales.
MOTION CARRIED: 5-0

INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT W/TOPPENISH
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to enter into the Interlocal Agreement between the City of Granger regarding the cooperative use of facilities, equipment and personnel. Motion seconded by Councilwoman Estrada.
MOTION CARRIED: 5-0

RESOLUTION 2017-06
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to approve Resolution 2017-06 authorizing the use of Capital Improvement Fund as matching funds for the Transportation Improvement Board Grant. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Gonzalez
MOTION TO TABLE: 5-0

AGREEMENT WITH THE BUILDING DEPARTMENT
It was moved by Councilwoman Gonzalez to enter into the agreement with the Building Department, DBA, Northwest Code Professionals. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Villarreal
MOTION CARRIED: 5-0

 MENUDO FESTIVAL
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to approve the Supplemental Attachment with the Chamber of Commerce for the 2017 Menudo Festival and agree to provide the item listed in the attachment. Motion was seconded Councilwoman Gonzalez.
MOTION CARRIED: 5-0

RESOLUTION 2017-07
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to adopt Resolution 2017-07, completing the 2017 Periodic update of the Comprehensive Plan and Development regulations as required by RCW 36.70A.130. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Gonzalez
MOTION CARRIED: 5-0

 BILLS
It was moved by Councilwoman Gonzalez to pay the bills of August 8, 2017 in the amount of $24,562.43. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Estrada.

 PROCLAMATION
Mayor Trevino read the proclamation and as Mayor of the City of Granger and behalf of the City Council, proclaimed the week of August 13-19, 2017 as “National Health Center Week” in the City of Granger and urged the community to recognize the multitude of ways in which community health centers are “The Key to Healthier Communities.
 ADJOURN

It was moved by Councilwoman Villarreal to adjourn the meeting. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Sharp.  Meeting adjourned at 7:07 p.m.
