CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Pro-Tem Estrada called the meeting of Sept. 12, 2017 to order at 7:00 p.m.

AUDIENCE PARTICIPATION

MINUTES
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to accept the minutes of August 22, 2017 as presented. Motion seconded by Councilwoman Gonzalez.
MOTION CARRIED: 5-0

DES Agreement
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to have the City of Granger enter into an Interagency Agreement with the Washington State Department of Enterprise Services for the next three years, starting August 24, 2017. It was seconded by Councilwoman Gonzalez.
MOTION CARRIED: 5-0

CLOSED RECORD DECISION-REZONE –ANAHI INVESTMENTS
Councilman Isiordia stepped down from his position excused himself from the meeting due to a conflict of interest. It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp that the application for the rezone submitted by Anahi Investments be approved based on the information provided and the Community Development Commission’s recommendation. Motion seconded by Councilman Gonzalez

CLOSED RECORD DECISION – VARIANCE –YAKIMA HOUSING AUTHORITY
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp that the application for a variance submitted by Yakima Housing Authority be approved based on the information provided and the Community Development Commission’s recommendation. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Villarreal.
MOTION CARRIED: 5-0
ORDINANCE 1290
It was moved by Councilwoman Gonzalez to adopt Ordinance 1290, approving the change of zoning and amending the Granger Official Zoning map. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Sharp.
MOTION CARRIED: 5-0

PD REQUEST – AMMO
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to allow the expenditure of $1,525.26 plus tax and shipping costs, total not to exceed $1,700. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Villarreal.
MOTION CARRIED: 5-0

PD REQUEST – LODGING
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to allow the expenditure of $643.32 for lodging for the officer while training in Redmond. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Gonzalez.
MOTION CARRIED: 5-0

BILLS
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to pay the bills of September 12, 2017 in the amount of $38,169.68. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Estrada.
MOTION CARRIED: 5-0
