CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Trevino called the meeting of December 10, 2019 to order at 7:00 p.m., and advised that the meeting was being video and audio recorded.

It was moved by Councilwoman Villarreal to approve the minutes as written. Motion seconded by Councilwoman Gonzalez.

NEW BUSINESS
Resolution 2019 – Cost Allocation Plan
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to adopt Resolution 2019-08, a Resolution of the City Council adopting the 2020 Cost Allocation Plan.  Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Villarreal.
MOTION CARRIED -5-0

Resolution 2019-Prohibiting local income tax
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to adopt Resolution 2019-09, a Resolution of the City Council of the City of Granger, Washington, prohibiting the imposition of a local income tax. Motion was second by Councilman Isiordia.
MOTION CARRIED -5-0

Ordinance 1344 – Increase Compensation
It was moved by Councilwoman Gonzalez to amend Section 2 of Ordinance 1189 concerning Council and Mayoral Compensation which will increase the Mayor’s salary from $750. To $1,000.  Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Estrada.
MOTION  CARRIED 3-2  

Task Order #2 HLA – City Safety Plan
It was moved by Councilwoman Estrada to approve HLA Engineering and Land Survey, INC for Task Order #2 for the development of a City Safety Plan in the amount of an estimates fee of $8,500.  Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Gonzalez.

Donated Vehicle – PD
It was moved by Councilwoman Gonzalez to accept the donated vehicle from Kay’s towing and start the procedures to switch ownership. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Estrada.

BILLS
It was moved by Councilwoman Gonzalez to pay the bills of December 10, 2019 in the amount of 35,926.61.  Motion was seconded by Councilman Estrada

MAYOR
Mayor Trevino reminded Council that the Council meeting scheduled on the second Tuesday of the Month, December 24, 2019 has been changed to December 30, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.

Mayor Trevino also reminded Council and the public of the Christmas Light Parade on Saturday the 14th at 6:30 p.m.

It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to adjourn the meeting.  Motion was seconded by Councilman Isiordia.
