CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Trevino called the meeting of February 25, 2020 to order at 7:00 p.m. and advised that the meeting was being video, and audio recorded.

MINUTES
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to approve the minutes of February 11, 2020 as presented. Motion seconded by Councilman Villarreal.

NEW BUSINESS

Ordinance 1352 – Loan
It was moved by Councilwoman Guzman to adopt Ordinance 1352, an Ordinance authorizing an interfund loan from the Water/Sewer Reserve Fund to the Irrigation Fund; providing for severability and establishing an effective date.  Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Guzman Sharp.

Ordinance 1353
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to adopt Ordinance 1353, an Ordinance amending the 2020 budget in the Irrigation Fund in the amount of 99,000.   Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Estrada

Ordinance 1354
It was moved by Councilwoman Guzman to adopt Ordinance 135, an Ordinance amending the 2020 Budget in the W/S Reserve Fund in the amount of 99,000     Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Estrada.
MOTION CARRIED 4-0

Ordinance 1355
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to adopt Ordinance 1355, an Ordinance amending the 2020 Budget in the Current Expense Fund in the amount of $8,638.       Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Villarreal.
MOTION CARRIED 4-0

Street Swiper Parts
It was moved by Councilwoman Estrada to approve the expenditure of $1,800. For parts for the street sweeper.    It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp
MOTION CARRIED 4-0

Training
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to allow the expenditure of $1,400 for Chief Araguz to attend the Northwest Law Enforcement Command College. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Estrada.
MOTION CARRIED 4-0

BILLS
It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to pay the bills of February 25, 2020 in the amount of $210,772.88.  Motion was seconded by Councilman Villarreal.

EXECUTIVE SESSION
Mayor Trevino stated that Council would retire into an Executive Session to consider the minimum offering price for sale or lease of real estate.  He also stated that the executive session would not last any longer than 30 minutes.  Council retired into an Executive Session at 7:06 p.m.

Council reconvened at 7:36 p.m.

ADJOURNMENT
It was moved by Councilwoman Villarreal to adjourn the meeting. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Sharp.   MOTION CARRIED 4-0 

Meeting adjourned at 7:38 p.m.
