 CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Trevino called the meeting of November 24, 2020 to order at 7:00 p.m.

CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING – 2021 Preliminary Budget

Mayor Trevino opened the continued public hearing on the 2021 Preliminary Budget.  Mayor said that Council had a budget retreat on Saturday the 14th . He said they were presented with a budget that was balanced.   He said that there were some changes, however the budget remained pretty much the same as was presented on the 14th.  Mayor said that Council would consider Ordinance 1360 which adopted the 2021 Budget.  Mayor Trevino then call for a motion.

It was moved by Councilwoman Guzman to adopt Ordinance 1360, An Ordinance adopting the City of Granger’s budget for the ensuing year of 2021 in the amount of $4,060,797.   Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Sharp.

It was moved by Councilwoman Villarreal to approve the minutes as presented. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Guzman.

NEW BUSINESS

Approval of the Drinking Water State Revolving Loan  

It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to approve the submittal of the Drinking Water State Revolving  Loan application in the amount of 1,018.194.13.  Motion was seconded by Councilman Isiordia.

It was moved by Councilwoman Guzman to pay the bills of November 24, 2020, in the amount of, 127,543.76.  Motion was seconded by Councilman Isiordia

COUNCIL

Mayor Trevino informed Council of the upcoming audit and the auditors were asking for a member of the governing body to go over a risk assessment questionnaire and they would also needed a couple of Councilmembers to attend the entrance conference, he reminded Council that any more than two Councilmember would be considered a quorum. Councilwoman Guzman agreed to answer the risk assessment questions.  Councilmember Sharp and Councilmember Estrada agreed to attend the entrance conference.

ADJOURNMENT

It was motion by Councilman Isiorida to adjourn the meeting.  Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Guzman
