 CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Trevino called the meeting of March 23, 2021 to order at 7:01 p.m.

NEW BUSINESS

Yakima Valley Visitors Guide-Advertisement

It was moved by Councilwoman Guzman to advertise in the Yakima Valley Visitors Guide for a half sheet advertisement in the amount of $1,335.00. Motion was seconded by Councilman Isiordia.

Expenditure Request – Analog card for Scada System

It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to approve the expenditure of $3,375.64 for the modules needed for the Scada System and for installation services   Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Guzman.

Acceptance of Bid – Tri-Valley

It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp that the City of Granger accept and award the construction contract in the amount of $162,833.76 to Tri-Valley Construction for Phase 2 of the Dean Avenue Water Main Improvements.  Motion was seconded by Councilman Isiordia.

MINUTES

It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to approve the minutes with the correction of the cost of the underwater Inspection from $4,15 to $4,150 and to correct the amount Under Bill from $48,385.83 to $48,035.83.  Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Guzman.

It was moved by Councilwoman Guzman to pay the bills of March 23, 2021, in the amount of $149,455.49.  Motion was seconded by Councilman Isiordia.

COUNCIL

Councilwoman Sharp personally thanked Officer Salinas, school resource officer, for helping her daughter while at school, as she was sick.  She said she received a call from her daughter being sick and she comforted to know that Officer Salinas escorted and stayed with her daughter until Councilwoman Sharp arrived at the school.  She said it was such a relief and a comfort to know he was at her side until she arrived.  She publicly wanted to acknowledge him and extend her appreciation for his efforts for take extra care and making our community a better place and keeping it safe.  Councilwoman Guzman also said she wanted to acknowledge all the officers for their efforts in making our community a safe place to live, stating we have a great Police Dept.

It was motion by Councilwoman Sharp to adjourn the meeting.  Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Guzman
