The flag salute was led by Mayor Trevino

CALL TO ORDER

Mayor Trevino called the meeting of August 27, 2019 to order at 7:00 p.m., and advised that the meeting was being video and audio recorded.

MINUTES

It was moved by Councilwoman Gonzalez to approve the minutes as written. Motion seconded by Councilwoman Villarreal.

NEW BUSINESS

Technical Assistance Contract with COG

It was moved by Councilwoman Gonzalez to amend the TA Contract, amendment #1 by 3,000, making the new contracted amount $11,000.   Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Sharp.

Resolution 2019-05 – TIB Match

It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to approve Resolution 2019-05, A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Granger, Washington, authorizing the use of Capital Improvement Fund, a matching fund for the Transportation Improvement Board Grant Fund. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Gonzalez

Ordinance 1337 – 2019 Budget Amendment

It was moved by Councilwoman Sharp to adopt Ordinance 1337, an Ordinance amending the 2019 Budget in the Parks and Rec Fund in the amount of $3,280. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Gonzalez.

MOTION CARRIED 3-0    

Ordinance 1338 – 2019 Budget Amendment

It was moved by Councilwoman Gonzalez to adopt Ordinance 1338, amending the Float/Festival Fund in the amount of $1,220.   Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Sharp.

Ordinance 1339 – 2019 Budget Amendment

It was moved by Councilwoman Gonzalez to amend the 2019 Budget in the Public Safety Fund in the amount of $77,105. Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Sharp

PROCLAMATION – Childhood Cancer

Mayor Trevino read proclamation of childhood cancer and proclaimed the month of September 2019 as “CHILDHOOD CANCER AWARENESS MONTH” and encourage all Granger residents to learn more about childhood cancers and consider what they could do to support children with cancer and their families.

It was moved by Councilwoman Gonzalez to pay the bills of August 27, 2019 in the amount of $34,448.32.  Motion was seconded by Councilwoman Sharp.
