MINUTES

 CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Trevino called the workshop to order at 6:00 p.m.

ROLL CALL – All present, except Councilman Isiordia

COUNCIL AND ADMINISTRATIVE PERSONNELL PRESENT

Jose Trevino                          Steve Araguz, Interim Chief of Police
Maria Gonzalez                     Alice Koerner City Clerk Treasurer
Maggie Estrada                     Virgil Newman, Fire Chief
Lilia Villarreal                        Jodie Luke, Public Works Director

 2019 Budget Run Down
The City Clerk presented Council with a budget run down which included each fund in the budget.The rundown provided Council with information pertaining to each fund, the projected revenue and projected expenditures, how and why the fund was established and the revenue sources of those funds plus projected amount to be carried into 2019. Council asked several questions concerning different items in the budget and their questions were answered.  Council was informed that each department head would be attending the next Council budget meetings. The Department heads would be giving a more in depth overview of their respective funds to the Council.  Council was given the following schedule:

October 29^th     –  Police Department
November 1^st     – Fire Department
November 6^th     – Public Works
November 8^th    – City Hall/Court  Final Review
